For admission to study at VIU all applicants are required to submit a completed application package, as outlined below, with a nonrefundable $100 application fee. ¹ Applicants can take VIU’s AccuPlacer test as TOEFL waiver. NOTE: The Office of Admissions will evaluate applications only after all required documents have been received. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis. By submitting all necessary documents in one application package, applicants may receive faster notice of admission. Application for admission to any of our academic programs including ESL is normally 4-weeks prior to start of the next semester (1st day of class). For an international student who needs to apply for an F-1 student visa, the application deadline is usually 8-weeks before the start of the next semester.
