Amy has worked as an Admissions Officer at VIU since 2007. In 2002 she graduated from Hope International University (HIU) in Fullerton, California with her BA in Human Services. While studying at Hope International University, Amy enjoyed tutoring, mentoring and befriending international students.

Amy studied abroad in Oxford, England during her undergraduate studies, and has traveled to 11 countries since then. Her interests in travel abroad, international education, and foreign students has drawn Amy towards a career path in international higher education. Amy is currently pursuing her M.Ed. in International Education from The George Washington University in Washington, DC, with concentrations in Study Abroad Advising and International Student Services.

Amy is active in her church, and enjoys traveling, salsa dancing, planning events, lifting weights, and spending time with friends.
