Dr. John C. Sees, Jr., PhD, (Colonel U.S. Army)

Dr. John C. Sees, Jr., (Colonel U.S. Army) currently works as an economics professor and the Deputy Chairman, Economics Department, Industrial College of the Armed Forces, at the National Defense
University.  Dr. Sees has a remarkable academic and military background. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting / auditing from the University of Notre Dame (1982), he holds a Master of Science in Engineering Operations Research from the University of Texas Austin
(1992), and earned his PhD in Information Technology (Systems Engineering / Operations Research) from George Mason University (2002). Dr. Sees has extensive operational and analytical experience, having served in a variety of Army command and staff assignments and at the Center for Army Analysis. He has published numerous articles in analytical and operational areas.  Dr. Sees is also a graduate of the Army War College and concurrently  earned a Masters Degree in Strategic Studies during his program of study.  Finally, Dr. Sees is active in the Military Operations Research Society, where he often presents papers on operational and analytical issues.
