Robin Leon, MA
International Student Advisor

Robin is an ESL instructor and International Student Advisor for ESL students at VIU. She graduated from The University of Maryland at College Park with dual B.A. degrees in both English Literature and Language and Spanish Literature and Language. Afterward she traveled around South America for a year where she taught English as a Second Language and studied Spanish in Santiago, Chile.

Later Robin moved to Gaudi's playground, the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona, to pursue a Masters of Comparative Literature and Critical Literary Theory at The Autonomous University of Barcelona in Spain. There she taught English for three years to a wide variety of ages from kindergarten to young professionals.

For the last four years she has been living in "Happy Valley", State College, Pennsylvania with her fiancé and family. At Penn State University, she taught Spanish and received a Masters in Latin American Literature.
She is fluent in English and Spanish. Her hobbies include: traveling, learning Turkish, dancing, and watching foreign films.
