VIU Announces Winners of James Yoo Scholarship

Virginia International University would like to thank United Central Bank for its generous donation of $5,000 to establish the James Yoo Scholarship for the 2007-2008 academic year. The new scholarship, named for the founder and president of United Central Bank, was awarded to deserving VIU students on the basis of academic performance and potential.

The 2007-2008 James Yoo Scholarship recipients are:

Cecilia Venson (Brazil), $1,000, BBA Program
Djahongir Sultanov (Uzbekistan), $500, MBA Program
Javkhlantugs Enkhtuvshin (Mongolia), $500, BBA
Yana Vladimirovna Ryabtseva (Russia), $500, MBA Program
Yobi Park (South Korea), $1,000, BBA Program
