English Language Courses will run from Monday through Thursday for 4-hours a day, for a total of 16 teaching hours per week. Fridays and weekends are free so that students may go on excursions, sightseeing tours, and other social activities.

• Students will be placed in small classes at levels determined by a placement test.

• All students' performances are continually monitored throughout the course.

• Conversation partners will be provided as part of the curriculum.

• Studying English at VIU's summer school guarantees students rapid progress with their level of English.
