SUMMARY
This essay will teach students how to develop a strong essay or paper. Topics may include developing and supporting a thesis, adding supporting evidence, and making logical conclusions. Students can expect to learn how to add content to their outlines or essay structures. It is preferred that students bring an outline or rough draft with them to this workshop.

SUMMARY
This brown bag lunch will help you to prepare for projects and finals by answering questions about what Turnitin is, why teachers use it, and how you can use it. This workshop will also help students understand what parts of the paper will be viewed by faculty when they see something that is marked as plagiarized.

SUMMARY
By the end of the event, participants can expect to understand how to correctly create in-text citations and reference pages in APA style. They will learn how to cite different types of documents, including books, webpages, media, and journals.


November is National Novel Writing Month! (NANOWRIMO)
November 1st, 2014-December 1st 2014

Think you have what it takes to write a novel? All month long, students will be competing for cash prizes by writing original first drafts of novels. Get creative and write your way to the top!

At this event, the WRMC will introduce its November contest, NANOWRIMO, and invite students to participate in the competition.
