We are dedicated to serving the interests of VIU students and alumni through networking and participation in the life of the university.

Upon graduation, you become an automatic lifetime member of the Alumni Association to expand your personal and business network worldwide. The VIU Alumni Association hosts a number of events throughout the year where you can reconnect with the university and former classmates. We have many participants in the VIU Mentor Program where VIU Alumnus partner with current students to help them achieve their dreams. We are also pleased to announce that the VIU Alumni Association will be launching a NEW Alumni Portal this Fall where Alumni can connect, get transcripts, sign up for events, post classified information, and much more!

Important OPT Information

All alumni members who are on OPT need to keep their employment and residential statuses updated in SEVIS records. Non-F-1 alumni are also encouraged to update their information for better connection among all members.
