Alumni Services

On this page, VIU alumni can learn about the help and support services offered to them by the Career Center. We also provide counseling regarding alumni responsibilities post-graduation, including actions required for F-1 students to maintain their visa status with the government.

Employment Status Verification

If you are a VIU graduate, whether you are in the US or in another country or if you are working or not working, you must submit employment status verification within three (3) months of graduation (or within three months of OPT start date for F-1 students). This information is required for the government and for our university accreditation. Why does this matter to you as a VIU alumni? Because the better our accreditation, the more valuable your degree from VIU!
