|Fairfax, VA – November 21, 2003 – Fairfax University of America held its second annual Fundraising Dinner for Scholarships on November 17 at Old Town Hall in Fairfax. The event, which featured International food and a silent auction, raised money for students who might not otherwise have the chance to pursue higher education.
The event was well attended and included some prominent local figures, including State Senator-Elect Jeannemarie Devolites, State Delegates Chap Petersen and Ken Plum, State Delegate-Elect Steve Shannon, Fairfax City Council member Patrice Winters, and educational philanthropist Earle Williams, who delivered the keynote address.
