Terry McAuliffe to speak at Virginia International University’s 6 th Commencement Ceremony
Longtime leader and political advisor for the United States democratic party, businessman, and entrepreneur, Terry McAuliffe, will be the guest speaker at Virginia International University’s 6 th Commencement Ceremony. Mr. McAuliffe started his first business at age 14 and at the age of 30 was elected chairman of a struggling community bank. He was Chairman of the Democratic National Committee from 2001 to 2005, Chairman of Hillary Clinton for President during the 2008 election cycle, and Co-Chairman of President Clinton’s 1996 re-election campaign. In 2009, he was a candidate for the Virginia gubernatorial nomination. Chairman McAuliffe has been a visiting Fellow to Harvard University’s John F Kennedy School of Government. Some of his latest projects include focused efforts on the economic and environmental benefits of renewable energy sources.
The graduation ceremony will feature 160 graduates from 35 different countries.
