Fairfax, VA – Virginia International University (VIU), located in Fairfax, is holding its third annual Fundraising Dinner for Scholarships on May 6, 2004, at the Sheraton Hotel in Reston.

Speakers for the evening include Congressman Tom Davis and Virginia’s Secretary of Education Dr. Belle S. Wheelan. The event will be emceed by State Senator Jeannemarie Devolites and chaired by VIU Board of Trustees member Earle C. Williams.

There will be a silent auction to support the event, and the dinner will be accompanied with music from different international performers.

Virginia International University was established in 1998 and has grown each year, with a current enrollment of approximately 175 students from over 33 different countries. VIU caters to the needs of domestic and international students by offering high-quality, affordable education. VIU currently offers Undergraduate, Graduate, Certificate, Diploma, and English as a Second Language (ESL) programs. Degrees include Business Management, Computer Science and Communication.
