Virginia International University (VIU) is accredited by ACICS, the largest national accrediting organization of degree granting institutions.
Upon obtaining employment, a VIU graduate or completer of a program will be placed either by job title, skills, or benefit of their training. Students are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the ACICS Definition of Placement. To receive more information on the formula for placement calculation, please visit www.acics.org.
It is important to note that VIU graduates, including Green Card holders (permanent residents), US citizens, and fully online students, must inform the Career Center of their employment status after graduation.
