Tuition and fees are subject to change without notice. The following tuition and fee structure is effective for the 2017-2018 academic year. Tuition is based on 3 credits for 1 course.

  • Undergraduate Degrees are 120 credits
  • Undergraduate Certificates are 24 credits
  • Graduate Degrees are 36 credits; 39 credits for M.Ed.
  • Graduate Certificates are 18 credits

Full-time course load varies per program.

All US citizens, permanent residents (green card holders) and holders of certain types of visas such as H1, H1B, H4, O, A, K, Jay Treaty status holders, political asylees and refugees are eligible for Domestic Tuition. Alumni who graduated from a VIU degree or certificate program are eligible for Domestic Tuition. Students who completed ESL, Test Preparation, and Continuing Education programs at VIU are not considered as alumni.
