Dawud Omar received his Master’s degree in Philosophy and his Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, with a minor in Linguistics, from George Mason University. His primary areas of research interest include ethics (esp. moral reasoning), epistemology, logic, and the philosophy of language. He also has a strong interest in Islamic studies as he has spent time studying overseas and is currently continuing his studies at the Islamic Online University.
Prior to his studies, he was in the field of human resources until he decided to return to school to complete his Bachelor’s degree and transition into the field of education. Since then he has earned a CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Cambridge and is currently teaching and conducting research on the side.
