Rosalba Murillo-Alvarado, BA

In 2009, I earned my B.A. degree in forensic psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City, which I attended part-time while working full-time at a language school. At the language school, I started out as the assistant to the DSO and was promoted to Designated School Official and then to Principal Designated School Official/International Student Services Manager. In 2016, I started working at ASA College in New York as an International Student Advisor/DSO. I have been working as an International Student Advisor/DSO for over seventeen years. I am passionate about helping foreign students who come to the USA with an academic goal. Being a part of assisting students in reaching their goals gives me great satisfaction. During my spare time and on the weekends, I enjoy outdoor and physical activities, especially running, and spending time with my family. In the near future, I’m planning to obtain my Master’s Degree in Education.
