Shora Moteabbed, PhD
Dr. Moteabbed received her master’s degree in business administration and her PhD in Management with a concentration in Organizational Behavior from ESSEC Business School in Paris, France. She then joined George Mason University as a post-doctoral research fellow and faculty.
Dr. Moteabbed’s teaching interests include organizational behavior, human resource management, cross-cultural and global management, and diversity in the organization. She emphasizes active participation and discussion in her classes. Her research interests are in the areas of identity in the organization, gender and diversity, team dynamics, and cross-cultural and global management. She has been published in journals such as Scientia Iranica and Diversity Quota: Diverse perspective, and she has several other papers under revision. Dr. Moteabbed has presented her research in various international conferences such as Academy of Management annual meetings and European Academy of Management conferences.
