Tanith Fowler Corsi has been professionally active in the field of international higher education for over 20 years in the Washington, DC area at various universities, non-profit organizations and private companies. Tanith oversaw global education offices at George Mason University and the Catholic University of America and acted as a Senior Director at NAFSA. Most recently Tanith worked as Director of Membership & Outreach at the College Consortium of International Studies (CCIS) before joining VIU’s Academic Affairs team. Tanith was born and raised in the Principality of Monaco in Europe where she completed a French Baccalaureate in Literature & Philosophy. She earned a bachelor’s degree in International Relations at the University of California, Riverside, and completed her master’s degree in International Communication at America University in Washington, DC. In addition to English, Tanith is fluent in French and conversational in Italian and Spanish. Her travel experiences include countries in Western and Eastern Europe, as well as Latin America, Africa, Australia and Asia. Tanith is very excited to join VIU and bring her passion for international education and cultural diversity to the University. She looks forward to working with the VIU community!
